The El Camino Eagles entered their tilt with the East Union Lancers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. El Camino came out on top against East Union by a score of 47-36 on Wednesday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points El Camino has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead El Camino to victory, but perhaps none more so than Demetrious Perry, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was Perry's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Martin, who scored 16 points.
El Camino is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. As for East Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
El Camino is on the road again on Thursday and play against El Capitan at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. East Union won't have much time to rest: their next match is against McClatchy at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th.
