Emilio Jimenez was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he hit this season.
