They had to suffer through a rough 45-17 loss at the hands of Rio Lindo Adventist. Pacific Union College Prep has not had much luck with Rio Lindo Adventist recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Rio Lindo Adventist's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Belen Hernandez led the charge by almost dropping a triple-double on 21 points, nine rebounds, and 12 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Hernandez has scored at least 25% of Rio Lindo Adventist's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaia Miller, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Pacific Union College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
