The Pioneer Valley Panthers lost against the Templeton Eagles on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pioneer Valley took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Templeton.
Despite the defeat, Pioneer Valley had strong showings from Angel Cardenas, who scored 16 points, and Kianna Real, who scored 12 points.
Pioneer Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Templeton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pioneer Valley will take on Lompoc at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lompoc is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Templeton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Ynez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Ynez is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
