Buckley extended their postseason success on Friday against Temecula Prep. They strolled past the Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 65-51.
Meanwhile, even though San Bernardino scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Hoover still came out on top. Hoover snuck past San Bernardino with a 62-57 victory. Given Hoover's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while San Bernardino is ranked 1134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Buckley has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Hoover, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-12.
