The Central Bobcats lost against the Centennial Coyotes back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Central took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes.
Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Lia Sims, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 17 rebounds. That was a full 64.1% of Central's points, marking the 25th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Centennial got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Akasha Prpich out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleia Young, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Centennial, their victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-15.
