Mountain View Academy is 3-0 against East Palo Alto Academy since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Mountain View Academy Mustangs will be playing at home against the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. East Palo Alto Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain View Academy, who comes in off a win.

Last Wednesday, Mountain View Academy beat San Francisco Christian 56-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Mountain View Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leilani Wright, who posted 20 points in addition to six boards and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wright has scored at least a third of Mountain View Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Mackey, who put up 20 points and eight steals.

Wright wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Mountain View Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, East Palo Alto Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 30-15 fall against MacDonald. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mountain View Academy will need focus on slowing down Sharol Cruz, one of several East Palo Alto Academy players who made an impact when they last played. She had five points.

East Palo Alto Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mountain View Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Mountain View Academy against East Palo Alto Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 56-6 victory.
