While Aptos's  victory against San Lorenzo Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top.  On the hitting side,  Dom Castillo was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.  Nate Garcia also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Aptos  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Lorenzo Valley struck out nine times.
Aptos' win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for San Lorenzo Valley, their loss was  their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-14.
 Looking ahead, Aptos will take on St. Monica at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. San Lorenzo Valley will be paying especially close attention to the Mariners'  game: after the Mariners face off against the Mariners, they'll take on San Lorenzo Valley again  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
