In other batting news, Cole Kramlich was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
Tamalpais was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Novato only posted a batting average of .208.
As for Novato, they moved to 8-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but Tamalpais' pitchers proved too tough.
