After four games on the road, Paradise is heading back home. They will take on the Winters Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Paradise will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1083rd, while the Warriors are ranked 455th).
Last Friday, Paradise suffered a rough 44-22 defeat at the hands of the RedHawks.
Meanwhile, Winters had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They managed a 45-39 win over Pierce.
Jordan Tucker went supernova for Winters, scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tucker has scored all season. Maci Dodic was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Paradise's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.2 points per game. As for Winters, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Paradise, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 37-19 loss to the Warriors in their previous matchup back in January.
