St. Pius X Catholic had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Southwest DeKalb Panthers. Considering the Golden Lions have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Pius X Catholic's win was their 16th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Southwest DeKalb, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
