After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Bessemer City, Central was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They slipped by the Northridge Jaguars  31-30. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their seven-point performance the  matchup before.
  Anthony Dixon continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 157 yards and a pair of  scores on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was  Armani White, who threw for 151 yards and two  TDs.
 Northridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Mayson Elam, who threw for 216 yards and three  touchdowns. 90 of those passing yards were hauled in by Tate Espey, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
Central's record is now 4-1. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Central has already played their next contest,  a  49-14  victory against Gardendale on the 26th. As for Northridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  22-21  defeat against Bibb County on the 26th.
