Cottonwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ciel Budge out in front who scored 13 points along with six assists and six steals. Budge hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Carley Caton, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Park City suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2023 on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-38 walloping at the hands of Tooele. Park City has struggled against Tooele recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Cottonwood is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Park City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
