This season hasn't been kind to the Entrepreneur Panthers, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They fell 38-26 to Calvary Baptist on Tuesday.
Calvary Baptist's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jawel Pummarachai, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pummarachai has scored all season. Another player making a difference was An Lei, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds and six steals.
Entrepreneur bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.5 points per game. As for Calvary Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Entrepreneur won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Palm Springs at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Palm Springs is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Calvary Baptist, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bethel Christian at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Bethel Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 last Saturday.
