Calvary Baptist put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Crossroads Christian Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jesse Gomez was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Gomez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Devin Debuono, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Calvary Baptist was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .613. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .351 or higher in six consecutive matchups.

Calvary Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Crossroads Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
