Walnut dropped their record down to 8-14 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Glendora Tartans, falling 8-0. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tartans from their previous meeting back in March of 2015.

As for Glendora, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games.

For Glendora's part, the team relied heavily on John Seader, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Seader has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Santiago Garza, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

While Walnut had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
