They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 55-25 victory over Gateway. Given San Francisco Waldorf's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 428th, while Gateway is ranked 1110th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Aasia Williams, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Selimah King, who scored 12 points.
San Francisco Waldorf's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Gateway, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Francisco Waldorf will take on International at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. International is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Gateway, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jewish Community at 5:30 p.m.
