Softball Recap: Fremont-Mills Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Fremont-Mills had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand East Mills a 13-0 shutout. Considering the Knights have won eight matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Fremont-Mills' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for East Mills, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Fremont-Mills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-3 loss against CAM on the 27th. Hopefully East Mills paid attention to Fremont-Mills' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Fremont-Mills at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
