There's no place like home for Pleasanton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Central Heights Vikings 30-7 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blu-Jays also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Pleasanton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kam Staton, who threw for 198 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one rushing score. Staton didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made six total tackles. Pleasanton's leading receiver Mario Davis was Staton's top target yet again, picking up 97 receiving yards and one score.

Despite the loss, Central Heights still got an impressive performance from Gage Peine, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown. Peine also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, making six total tackles, and defending one pass.

The win got Pleasanton back to even at 1-1. As for Central Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Pleasanton will challenge Sacred Heart at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Central Heights, they will welcome Uniontown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
