Rio Linda had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the El Camino Eagles with a sharp 63-38 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 22 points or more this season.

Rio Linda's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Savannah Grant, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 boards. That's the most points Grant has posted since back in December of 2024. Mariah Walton was another key player, putting up 19 points.

Rio Linda smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in 11 consecutive contests.

Taylor Stake and Calista Wold certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Stake had 18 points and four steals, while Wold dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Wold is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Rio Linda's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.6 points over those games. As for El Camino, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Rio Linda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-49 victory against Sutter on the 7th. As for El Camino, they have also already played their next game, a 56-40 win against Casa Roble on the 7th.
