After flying high against Pasadena last Saturday, Crescenta Valley came back down to earth. The Crescenta Valley Falcons took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Apaches on Wednesday. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Apaches from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
Aniela Migliaccio and Emily Martinez scored both of Crescenta Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.
Crescenta Valley's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 10-4-1. As for Arcadia, their win bumped their record up to 10-1-5.
The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Crescenta Valley will challenge Beckman at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arcadia, they will face off against Huntington Beach at 5:00 p.m. on February 12th. Arcadia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
