Leuzinger had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Hawthorne on Tuesday. The Olympians were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Cougars. The Olympians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Leuzinger, bringing their record up to 13-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Hawthorne, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
