Terrell Academy had won four straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 12-5 to make it five. They put the hurt on the Valwood Valiants with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

As for Valwood, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-6 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since August 25th.

For Valwood's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karstyn Hamby, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Terrell Academy has already played their next contest, a 14-2 win against Westwood on the 20th. As for Valwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Crisp Academy on the 23rd.
