Maxwell entered their tilt with Durham on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 11-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Vincent Orozco was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024. Colt Montgomery was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Maxwell's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Durham, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Maxwell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-7 defeat against Quincy on the 2nd. As for Durham, they have also already played their next game, a 23-2 victory against Pierce on the 29th.
