The Antelope Titans will be playing at home against the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Antelope waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins but they left with six. They breezed by Inderkum on the road to the tune of 81-43. Given Antelope's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Inderkum is ranked 210th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Isabella Azzolino and Jamiah Fontenberry. Azzolino had a great game and scored 20 points. Meanwhile, Fontenberry did her best for the losing side, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Cosumnes Oaks humbled Sheldon with a 75-40 victory.
Antelope has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Cosumnes Oaks, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11.
Everything came up roses for Antelope against Cosumnes Oaks in their previous meeting back in February of 2018 as the team secured a 64-37 victory. Does Antelope have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cosumnes Oaks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
