There's no place like home for The Anderson Trojans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Del Valle 49-17 at home. The result was nothing new for Anderson, who have now won three games by 32 points or more so far this season.
Anderson was led to victory by Ed Small and Brady Gephart. Small picked up 60 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Gephart threw for 171 yards and three touchdowns.
Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Del Valle, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Dripping Springs the next time they take the field. Del Valle will host Dripping Springs at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th, while Anderson will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
