The Orcutt Academy Spartans's and the Santa Barbara Dons's game  on Friday was close at halftime, but the Orcutt Academy Spartans turned on the heat in the second half with 36  points. Orcutt Academy blew past Santa Barbara 58-33. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Orcutt Academy.
 Orcutt Academy found their leader in underclassman  Elizabeth Johnson, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 10  rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Johnson has scored at least 25% of Orcutt Academy's points. Another player making a difference was  Ashley Barrientos, who  scored 14 points along with 7  rebounds and 6  assists.
 The  win  got Orcutt Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Santa Barbara, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Orcutt Academy is on the road again  on Saturday and play against Piedmont at 1:30  p.m.  on December 2nd. As for Santa Barbara, they will take on Dos Pueblos at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Dos Pueblos presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Santa Barbara in California (Dos Pueblos is ranked 18th, while Santa Barbara is ranked 466th).
