Collins Family will venture away from home to challenge Central City Value at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Collins Family knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Central City Value likes a good challenge.
Collins Family's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Animo Bunche as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Jaguars have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Diego Huerta made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Collins Family is 4-2 when he allows at most two hits, but 2-4 otherwise. Huerta was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Israel Arroyo was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. David Ortiz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Collins Family was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Central City Value lost 14-3 to Downtown Magnets on Wednesday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Suns recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Angel Santiago made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with five stolen bases and two runs. Marvin Balux was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases.
The win got Collins Family back to even at 6-6. As for Central City Value, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Collins Family has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Central City Value struggles in that department as they've been averaging 20 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Collins Family took their victory against Central City Value in their previous matchup last Wednesday by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Collins Family since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
