It was fun while it lasted, but Hillsdale's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Saturday. They took a hard 58-42 fall against the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Lauryn Lacap, who went 5 of 10 en route to 10 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mika Jagannathan, who made all 5 shots she took to post 10 points.
Having lost for the first time this season, Hillsdale fell to 6-1. As for Lick-Wilmerding, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

As for Lick-Wilmerding, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers take on the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
