Linn hadn't done well against Fatima recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Comets by a score of 6-1. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Sophia Voss made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in October of 2024.
