Pitman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Escalon on the road and fell 63-34. While losing is never fun, Pitman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 529th, while Escalon is ranked 155th).
Pitman's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Dailynn Greener, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and three steals, and Marin Irasava who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Irasava has scored all season.
Meanwhile, East Union strolled past El Capitan with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 57-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for East Union.
