With a playoff game on the line, the San Marino Titans rose to the challenge on Thursday. They never let the Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The win was just what San Marino needed coming off of a 3-0 defeat in their prior contest.
San Marino's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9-2.
San Marino will head out on the road to take on Channel Islands at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Channel Islands will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 460th, while San Marino is ranked 228th). Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
