Brockway took a serious blow against DuBois Central Catholic, falling 60-30. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brockway in their matchups with DuBois Central Catholic: they've now lost seven in a row.
Sophia Morrison was Brockway's leading scorer, having posted ten points.
Sophia Schmader held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Brockway bumped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for DuBois Central Catholic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Brockway will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against DuBois at 4:00 p.m. on December 22nd. DuBois comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Brookville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Brookville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 331st, while DuBois Central Catholic is ranked 72nd).
