Bedford is 2-8 against Forest Hills since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bedford Bisons will head out on the road to face off against the Forest Hills Rangers at 7:15 p.m. Bedford is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bedford beat Chestnut Ridge 39-35.
Bedford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rebekah Costal, who scored 14 points. Katie Mcdevitt was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. Everything went their way against Westmont Hilltop as Forest Hills made off with a 63-42 win. Winning may never get old, but Forest Hills sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forest Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Mcleary, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Arissa Britt, who scored 13 points.
Bedford's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Forest Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
Bedford was taken down by Forest Hills 65-35 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Bedford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
