Shaw entered their tilt with Sumter County on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kaiden McBurnett was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Alexis McClain was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Shaw  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sumter County didn't  got any hits.
Shaw's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Sumter County, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-6.
 Looking ahead, Shaw will challenge Villa Rica at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sumter County, they are taking a road trip to  take on Carver  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
