McFarland's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Frazier Mountain Falcons as they made off with a 12-1 win. Considering the Cougars have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

McFarland let Cris Soto and Eddie Vasquez run wild. Soto went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Vasquez went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Vasquez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Perez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run.

McFarland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

McFarland's victory bumped their record up to 7-8-1. As for Frazier Mountain, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

McFarland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-2 loss against Chavez on the 22nd. As for Frazier Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-5 defeat against California City on the 22nd.
