Spring has won five straight games at home, while MacArthur has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Lions will host the Generals at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
MacArthur's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Spring hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Lions never let Eisenhower get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Thursday.

Brylynn Rickert made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Hailey Jones-Calais was a standout: she fired off two home runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. Maleah Grounds was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.
Spring was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .684. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in 11 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, MacArthur got the win against Aldine on Thursday by a conclusive 18-1.
Hailey Mullikin looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Amanda Morales, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Chacon, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Spring's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for MacArthur, their win bumped their record up to 18-11.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Spring hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .517. However, it's not like MacArthur struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Spring got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against MacArthur by a conclusive 22-2 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
