On Friday, Wood strolled past Chavez with  points to spare, taking the game  55-36.
  Natalia Sanchez continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 16 points and 12  rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which  she has scored at least 25% of Wood's points.  Tianna Palmer was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 10 points and 10  rebounds.
 Wood's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Chavez, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Wood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pleasant Grove at 12:00  p.m.  on December 2nd. As for Chavez, they will  face off against Rodriguez at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
