Baseball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Lassen

Lassen won the last time they faced Yreka and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Grizzlies walked away with a 7-2 win over the Miners.

Lassen saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gaven Mueller, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Lassen pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Yreka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lassen beat Yreka by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.
