There's no place like home for South Pontotoc, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. Everything went their way against the Okolona Chieftains on Friday as they made off with  a  41-19 win. The  contest was close at halftime, but the Cougars turned on the heat in the second half with 20  points.
 South Pontotoc didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Jordan Golliday and  Walyn Bramlitt. Bramlitt is also crushing it when it comes to  total tackles: he's   made at least five every time he's  taken the field this season.
 When it comes to explaining why Okolona lost, don't look at  Jaiden Grady. Despite the final result, he picked up 105 receiving yards and one  score. Grady showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 58 yards. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget  Bryson Washingtn, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
