After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alleman, ROWVA/Williamsfield was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Delavan Panthers 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Zander Vest was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
