On Wednesday, Blue Earth put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on St. James to the tune of 35-0. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Blue Earth's flat performance the contest before.
The victory bumped Blue Earth's record up to 3-5. This is the second loss in a row for St. James and nudges their record down to 3-5.
After their clash against one another, the teams are taking a break from conference action in their upcoming games. Blue Earth will square off against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at 7:00 PM next week. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for St. James, they will go up against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop have averaged 31.67 points over the course of their past three games, so St. James might be in for a challenge.
