A step-back 3-pointer early in the third quarter was the record-breaking basket. Crowe scored 11 points in the first quarter and had 24 at the half before climbing to 41 at the end of the third quarter.
After trailing 2-0 early in the contest, Inglewood took control and led throughout with a 24-7 lead after the first period and a 57-32 lead at halftime before stretching the advantage to 83-57 at the end of the third period.
Headed to Missouri, Crowe entered the contest as the leading scorer in the nation through seven games according to statistics submitted to
MaxPreps, averaging 42.9 points per contest on the season. He has scored 40 or more points in seven of eight games for the Sentinels and upped his average to 43.9 points per outing after his most recent scoring outburst.
Crowe earned MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year honors in 2022-23, second team MaxPreps Sophomore All-America honors in 2023-24 and first team MaxPreps Junior All-America honors in 2024-25.
For his career, Crowe is averaging 36.7 points, 5.7 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 steals per outing. He spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Lynwood before transferring to Inglewood prior to his junior year.
Year-by-Year Averages
Freshman: 36.0 points, 5.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 3.5 steals
Sophomore: 37.4 points, 5.8 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.9 steals
Junior: 35.3 points, 6.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.1 steals
Crowe now sits at No. 54 on the all-time national scoring list with 3,682 points after surpassing seven people for career points in the victory.
He exceeded Greg Powell of Shelbyville (Texas), Ty Harman of Maud (Okla.) Bobby Smith of Melrose (Memphis, Tenn.), Charlie Osborne of Flat Gap (Ky.), Lance Weems of Clay County (Ashland, Ala.) and Anthony Nastasi of Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, Pa.) along with the aforementioned Yessoufou on the historic night according to the MaxPreps national career scoring
record book.
If Crowe continues scoring at his current pace, he would finish the season as one of the top 50 per game scorers in a single season while also reaching the top 50 on the career scoring list nationally.
