On Friday, Edison were out to avenge their 8-42 defeat to Concordia Academy from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Edison had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 28-29 to Concordia Academy. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
The loss dropped Edison back to even at 1-1. The victory bumped Concordia Academy's record up to 2-0.
Next week Edison take on St. Agnes at 7:00 PM. As for Concordia Academy, they will face off against Breck.
