The Trinity Christian Eagles lost against the Pantego Christian Panthers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Trinity Christian fell to Pantego Christian 57-51. Trinity Christian has not had much luck with Pantego Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Tristan Brown was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with nine rebounds for Pantego Christian. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Jackson, who scored 13 points.
Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Pantego Christian, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lake Country Christian at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th. Lake Country Christian is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Pantego Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Red River at 6:00 p.m.
