Video: Deshaun Watson high school highlights The Gainesville star was a standout in Georgia before playing at Clemson and with the Texans.
Georgia had 124 former high school players who finished on a NFL
roster in 2019. Only Florida, California and Texas produced more NFL players than the Peach State.
Cam Newton, the 2015 NFL MVP, prepped in Georgia as did Houston's Deshaun Watson. There are two San Francisco 49ers — Ronald Blair and Jerick McKinnon — and five Kansas City Chiefs — Tyreek Hill, Cameron Erving, Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson and Harrison Butker — who played Friday nights in Georgia.
Norcross leads the way in terms of number of NFL players with six — Jason Croom (Bills), Max Garcia (Cardinals), Geremy Davis (Chargers), Lorenzo Carter (Giants), Chris Herndon (Jets) and Alvin Kamara (Saints).
