The Blue Devils went into halftime with a 17-0 lead and held off the Vikings second-half comeback. They outscored Marietta in the second half but

Marietta ran out the clock to pull off the 17-9 win to capture its first state championship since 1967. The Blue Devils are in consideration to play in the GEICO State Champions Bowl Series next weekend in Las Vegas at Bishop Gorman High School.
