Jayda Coleman, Fr., The Colony, .737What a start to the varsity career for Coleman. She has 42 hits and has scored 37 runs. Coleman isn't just a contact hitter, she has tallied 22 extra-base hits, including 11 doubles.
Ally Puentes, Sr., Levelland, .731Puentes is 19-for-26 early in the season. She enjoyed a breakout 5-for-5 game with four RBIs, two doubles and a triple in a 31-0 victory over Slaton on March 3.
Home runsAbby Buettner, Fr., Ryan (Denton), 12Buettner has 12 homers in the first 59 at-bats of her career. She has homered in 10 of her team's 20 games, including two multi-home run games.
Madison Hirsch, So., The Colony, 12At just 5-foot-3, Hirsch packs a lot of punch in her bat. In the season opener, Hirsch laced two home runs and went 3-for-3 with five RBIs. She also had a two-homer, six-RBI game six weeks later.
Kasey Flores, Jr., Eastlake (El Paso), 10Flores has homered in six of her last 11 games to up her long-ball total to 10. She also has nine doubles.
McKenzie Parker, Jr., Willis, 10Parker has three multi-home run games, including three blasts, five RBIs and four hits in a 5-1 victory over Oak Ridge on Feb. 25.
Shelby Gayre, Sr., D'Hanis, 10One of the leaders in batting average, Gayre had six home runs in the first three games of the season, including going 9-for-11 with 14 RBI and eight runs scored.

Runs batted inAbby Buettner, Fr., Ryan (Denton), 53Buettner is putting up staggering stats this season. She has 59 official at-bats and 53 RBI, which is 2.65 RBIs per game. She has four or more RBIs in eight games.
Kasey Flores, Jr., Eastlake (El Paso), 51Flores' team has tallied 294 runs in the first 23 games, with Flores driving in 51. She has had two games with seven RBIs in the last two weeks.
