Bethany proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Weatherford Eagles. Bethany got a great performance from Jayda Davis as she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
On the hitting side, Alyssa Daniels was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Berkley Johnson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
