After flying high against Keller  last Friday, Timber Creek came back down to earth. The Timber Creek Falcons took  a  43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tomball Cougars on Friday. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars  13-9 in the first  quarter.
Timber Creek's loss  came despite strong showings from  Jillian Topping and  Lashonda Reeves.  Topping  posted 11 points and six  rebounds, while  Reeves  put up four  points and nine  rebounds.

 Even though they lost, Timber Creek  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive rebounds in seven consecutive  matchups.
 It was another big night for  Kylee Symons, who  had 13 points and five  rebounds for Tomball. The team also got some help courtesy of  Danielle Oyakhire, who  posted seven  points.
Timber Creek's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Tomball,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 14-4.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing Judson the next time they take the court. Timber Creek will head out to face Judson at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday, while Tomball will play them later in the day, at 8:00  a.m.
